ALOE VERA

Embodied with miraculous benefits for one's health, Aloe Vera replenishes your skin with multiple essentials. Also known as ‘Kumari’ or a 'Juvenile Girl', it keeps your skin young and healthy. Aloe Vera consists of enzymes, antioxidants, vitamins A and C, which prominently act as an anti-ageing, moisturizing, and soothing agent, with its proportioned use in our skin care products. In ancient history Aloe Vera was popular for rejuvenating remedies in the form of aloe vera gel for several cuts, wounds, rashes, for menorrhoea problems and even to stabilize the cardiovascular system. As per Ayurveda, Aloe Vera extracts are considered to be magical for balancing the three Doshas in the human body- Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. As a significant ingredient in the traditional medicine system, it has also been widely used in TCM, Chinese Materia Medica, Siddha, Kampo, and so on. In TMC, Aloe Vera is used not just for medicinal purposes but also for preparing natural skin care products. Aloe Vera has a long history and going back to its origin, its history stretches back to the times of Ancient Egypt; while also being a native to North Africa, Southern Europe, and the Canary Islands. Unlike other parts of the world, in European countries, only the dried, concentrated leaf juice (the latex) of Aloe Vera is allowed to be used for skin care or herbal medicinal purposes.
