TURMERIC
Turmeric is an Indian flora. It is a 5-8 foot growing plant of ginger species in which turmeric is found in root nodes. Turmeric has been recognized as a miraculous substance in Ayurveda since ancient times. Turmeric is considered as an Ayurvedic medicine. It is believed that it has medicinal properties. Even in Ancient History, Turmeric was used in treatment for sprains and swelling. According to research conducted by scientists on turmeric, it contains antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiseptic, anti-cancer, antitumor, hepatoprotective (liver-protecting properties), cardioprotective (heart-preserving properties) and nephroprotective (kidney) properties that protect against harm. Turmeric is the best medicine due to its antibacterial and antibiotic properties while it protects against antioxidants and wrinkles. Turmeric is also effective in reducing weight. The curcumin present in it does not allow fatty tissues to form. Turmeric contains iron which prevents the deficiency of haemoglobin in the body and brightens the skin. Turmeric revives the skin and prevents ageing. In ancient times, using turmeric over the face and body was the prior method for cleansing of skin. Turmeric masks are so in demand for skin rejuvenation, anti-ageing and cleansing action.
